Ehteraz portal to allow registration of Covid-19 vaccine received outside Qatar

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced a new feature on Ehteraz Portal which now enables citizens and residents who have received Covid-19 vaccination outside the country to apply to have their vaccination approved and reflected in Ehteraz as a golden frame.

The Ministry also stated that the Covid-19 vaccination certificates uploaded in the Portal will be validated and verified. Those that are considered valid will be accepted and reflected on the Ehteraz application.

'Vaccinations from abroad will have the same validity criteria applied to them as those from within Qatar,' the Ministry stated.

The same rules related to fully approved and conditionally approved vaccines will also be followed.

MoPH said that 'processes for visitors to Qatar have not changed, and they must follow the same protocol for entry into Qatar as previously through the Ehteraz Portal.'
