Turkish leader, First Lady have 'mild symptoms', testing positive for Omicron
(MENAFN) Turkish Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan and first lady Emine Erdogan had “mild symptoms” of coronavirus, when they tested positive for the omicron variant.
Erdogan said in a twitter post "This morning, our doctor performed our routine check-up. Thankfully, there is nothing negative. We have mild symptoms today as well, and we're continuing to work from home with Mrs. Emine," and delivered many messages to get well from world presidents and Political officials.
He received letters from Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Leader Ersin Tatar, Pakistan's Leader Arif Alvi, Pakistani Premier Imran Khan, Ukraine's Leader Volodymyr Zelensky, Kosovo Leader Vjosa Osmani, Kazakh Leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Somali Leader Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo, Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Leader of El Salvador Nayib Bukele, Guatemala’s Leader Alejandro Giammattei, Greek Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and Serbian Leader Aleksandar Vucic.
