Turkish Airlines to stop asking for negative PCR tests for local flights

(MENAFN) According to the Turkish Airlines announcement on Saturday, travelers do not have to show negative PCR test results for local flights on the airlines anymore.

Based on the general manager of the national flag carrier, Bilal Eksi post on Twitter, the firm had gotten rid of the constrain “in line with the decision taken by competent authorities.”

The official also mentioned, “submitting the HES Code will be sufficient,” mentioning Turkey’s Covid-19 program of detecting potential contacts.

His declaration came after a new announcement by the Turkish Interior Ministry stating that unvaccinated citizens and those who didn’t receive their full vaccinations do not have to give PCR test results to enter transport facilities, public events, workplaces as well as schools.
