Jordan - Bazaar showcases agricultural products from Shoubak

AMMAN — Chief Commissioner of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) Suleiman Farajat on Sunday attended an agricultural bazaar displaying products form Shoubak.
The event was organised by the Shoubak Agriculture Directorate and the PDTRA.
Farajat said that the event is part of the authority's social responsibilities, adding that the bazaar aimed to help individuals and associations market and promote their products, according to a PDTRA statement.
Shoubak Agriculture Director Thair Rawajfeh said that the bazaar, which started on Sunday, aimed to act as a launch point for a several-day bazaar during next summer with the aim of encouraging women from rural areas to promote and market their products.
