Erdogan appreciates Musk for aiding with inauguration of satellite

(MENAFN) Turkish Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed thanks to Elon Musk, the CEO of electric carmaker Tesla and space exploration firm SpaceX, for aiding with the inauguration of Turksat 5A, which is a Turkish communications satellite.

The Turkish Premiership shared the video of chat amid both of them, when they talked over some problems such as the digital economy, Turkish National Space Program, and Turkish first national electric car TOGG.

The Turkish president added that the Turksat 5B satellite is going to be inaugurated to space via SpaceX, and showed appreciation to Musk for his aid to Turkey with the inauguration of the 5A satellite.

Erdogan as well said "We'll gift you with an NFT (non-fungible token) of satellite art created by 5,000 of our children."
