Panama - Charges laid following Operation Fisher bust
The hearing for the imputation of charges against those apprehended in 'Operation Fisher' began on Sunday, December 5.
On , Saturday, the legalization of the apprehension of 57 suspects was achieved, and on Sunday the Drug Prosecutor's Office seeks to impute charges for the alleged commission of crimes of illicit association and money laundering.
In the operation, 34 luxury cars, bank accounts and a residence valued at more than one million dollars located in Río Hato, Coclé, have been seized.
The Minister of Security, Juan Pino, did not rule out that even higher value properties would continue to be seized, in addition to other assets.
Attorney Javier Caraballo has described the operation as one of the largest in the history of the country.
