Kremlin says Erdogan has great guidance in local, global issues

(MENAFN) Turkish Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan's "significant influence in regional and international affairs" were valued by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitriy Peskov.

Peskov at a day-to-day media meeting in Moscow, declared Russia would accept if Erdogan might use his guidance to make Kyiv put into effect the 2014 Minsk Protocol.

He also said this problem can be mentioned in the telephone call amid Russian and Turkish leaders.

According to the spokesperson "If Mr. Erdogan can somehow use his influence, and this influence is absolutely unambiguous both regionally and in world affairs in many aspects, if he can use his influence to encourage Kyiv to begin fulfilling its obligations under the Minsk package of measures, the Paris agreements and so on, then this will be welcome."
