Turkish FM meets with his South Korean counterpart to discuss bilateral ties


(MENAFN) The Turkish foreign minister gathered with his South Korean counterpart in the capital Seoul and tackled mutual ties, cooperation in defense industry and investments.

Mevlut Cavusoglu talked with Chung Eui-yong steps to be taken in “areas such as investments, balancing trade, defense industry and facilitating travel.”

They also evaluated regional issues and Turkey’s Asia Anew initiative that is planning to establish stronger ties with Asian countries.

A "Technical Working Group" was also set to improve ties between the two countries, Cavusoglu further declared.
