Top Turkish official convenes with Russia’s, France’s diplomats in New York
(MENAFN) On Friday, Sep. 24 the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal convened with senior diplomats from Russia and France and talked about agenda matters with a top UN official in New York at the 76th UN General Assembly.
Turkey’s Foreign Ministry tweeted that Onal convened with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Vershinin, and talked about progress in the political procedure in Libya and Syria.
Onal convened as well with Philippe Errera, general director for political affairs and security at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France.
The ministry said on Twitter that the officials swapped opinions on regional matters, comprising Libya, Afghanistan, Syria and Lebanon.
