Secretary-General of GCC Receives Yemeni Minister of Education

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Aug. 31, 2021, SPA -- The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf received here today the Minister of Education of Yemen, Tariq Salem Al-Akbari.
Dr. Al-Hajraf affirmed the firm position of the GCC in supporting the security and stability of Yemen and its legitimate government as well as all efforts aimed at ending the crisis in Yemen, in accordance with the three references of the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism; the outcomes of the Yemeni national dialogue; and Security Council Resolution No. 2216.
During the meeting, they discussed the difficulties and challenges facing the education sector in Yemen, and ways of cooperation and partnership to meet these challenges and promote and support education in Yemen.
