Over 14M biometric passports issued in Ukraine over four years of visa-free travel
"For four years of visa-free travel, the State Migration Service issued more than 14 million passports of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad. In general, since the introduction of biometric passports in Ukraine (January 2015), almost 19 million such documents have been issued,” the report reads.
The introduction of a visa-free regime for entry into the EU countries for Ukrainians with biometric passports not only simplified cultural, educational and business contacts, but also expanded the geography of tourist, private and business travel of our citizens.
The visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU came into force on June 11, 2017.
