Algeria: Eight people infected with COVID-19 lose life

ALGIERS, April 27 (KUNA) -- Eight people in Algeria died due to infection with COVID-19 and 232 others were listed as infected cases past 24 hours.
Spokesperson of the national coronavirus response committee, Dr. Djemal Forar, said in his daily pandemic briefing, on Tuesday, that the caseload related to the contagion swelled to 121,344 while total deaths reached 3,225.
He also reported 158 new recovery cases with the whole figure of those who have been relieved of hospitalization amounted to 84,598. (end)
