"Qatar is the first country in the Middle East with which Ukraine concluded a visa waiver agreement. We have great potential for developing cooperation with a reliable partner," Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov posted on Twitter.
As reported, Avakov said on Monday, April 5, that Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani praised the readiness of Ukraine to provide support during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In addition, Arsen Avakov and Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani signed a memorandum of cooperation on fight against crime and crime prevention.
During the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to Qatar, 13 bilateral documents and two commercial contracts were signed.
