Qatar- Farewell event held for prominent India expat

Long-time Qatar resident and prominent Indian expatriate Divakar Poojary was given a farewell by the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) in adherence with the Covid-19 protocols.
Poojary has served as general secretary of the ICC, Indian Community Benevolent Forum, Indian Business and Professionals Council, president of Tulu Koota and Qatar Billawas in addition to being a sub committee member of the Indian Sports Centre.
Community leaders Ziad Usman, Azim Abbas, Manikantan, Nilangshu Dey, Girish Kumar, Milan Arun, Vinod Nair, and Seenu Pillai spoke on the occasion.
ICC vice-president Subramanya Hebbagelu chaired and conveyed the message from president PN Babu Rajan. The event compering by ICC general secretary Krishnakumar.
For his outstanding contribution to the Indian community, the ICC managing committee presented a memento to Poojary.
