DPS-MIS organises bus safety drills for kindergarten students

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) recently organised bus safety drills for kindergarten students according to their respective groups. One of the best precautionary measures for children is to educate them on bus safety rules. Kids should be knowledgeable about certain rules which make them safe and secure.

The drill was conducted where the buses were parked. The teachers explained how to use emergency doors, fire extinguishers, first-aid equipment, and how to use horns if they are left alone. They instructed the kids not to open the windows when the bus runs, make safe boarding and disembarking. The drivers emphasised the students to maintain discipline and cleanliness inside the bus.

This year due to the pandemic, there were additional rules for children such as maintaining social distance and sanitising hands before and after boarding the bus. Children were guided to wear a mask throughout the travel on the bus. Eating and drinking (including chewing gum) are not allowed on school buses at any time to maintain hygiene.
