Iran: Semnan Province exports commodities valued at USD 188.7 m


(MENAFN)A provincial official declared that, Semnan Province, north-central Iran exported goods worth USD 188.7 million, in the first eight months of this year in the Iranian calendar year.

The worth of the eight-month export from Semnan represents an 11 percent increase annually, declared Ali Sa"adedin, the director-general of the province"s customs department.

In comparison with number in the previous year same period, he put the weight of exported commodities at 166,533 tons, with a nine percent fall.

9,551 tons of commodities worth USD 39.949 million have been imported to the province in the first eight months of the current 22 percent increase in terms of numbers and 21 percent drop in terms of weight, he added.
