Landmine blast slaughters 2 children in central Syria

(MENAFN) On Tuesday August 11 state news agency SANA accounted that the blast of a landmine killed two children in the central Syrian city of Palmyra.

SANA stated that the landmine that slaughtered the two brothers was left by the Islamic State (IS) radicals who had been in power of the area throughout the Syrian war.

The incident was the most recent accounted casualty in landmine blasts in Syria.

Landmines have murdered dozens in the previously rebel-held areas in the middle of government-led hard work to remove them for the security of civilians.
