Oman registers 1,157 new coronavirus infections, 66,661 in total
(MENAFN) Oman registered on Sunday 1,157 new coronavirus infections, taking the total number of cases in the country to 66,661.
A report published by the Ministry of Health registered 10 new mortalities from the coronavirus, taking the fatalities in the country to 318.
The report stated that 1,232 patients of coronavirus have recovered, taking the total recoveries to 44,004.
Amal Al-Maani, manager of the Infection Prevention and Control Department at the Omani Ministry of Health, told Xinhua that "The epidemiological curve of COVID-19 began to spread in Oman after April 5".
