Sri Lanka- Annual Kataragama Esala Perahera without spectators


(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The annual Kataragama Esala Perahera will be held without spectators, officials said.

Entry for pilgrims into the Kataragama sacred area will be limited from 21 July 21 to 04th August.

The annual Kataragama Esala Perahera will commence on July 21 and conclude on August 04 with the festival of Diya Kepima at Menik Ganga.

Restrictions have been imposed during the Kataragama Esala Perahera as a result of the coronavirus.

Strict health guidelines will be imposed on pilgrims visiting the Temple. (Colombo Gazette)
