Qatar- QU Foundation Programme invites presenters to submit proposals for English teaching conference
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Qatar University (QU) Foundation Programme, Deanship of General Studies, has invited presenters to submit proposals for its fifth Annual International Conference on English Language Teaching to be held virtually, in Doha, Qatar on 7-8 November, 2020.
Proposals for papers, panel discussions, workshops, teaching ideas or tips are expected to address the conference theme 'English Language Teaching and 21st Century Skills Communicate, Collaborate, Create. Deadline for the proposal submission is 1 September 2020.
Proposals should fall into one of the following categories: virtual learning, emotional intelligence, social and emotional learning, critical thinking, creativity in TEFL setting, digital literacy, learner autonomy, practical ideas in the online classroom, project-based learning, managing virtual classroom, online testing and assessment, online tools to enhance learning, professional development or leadership.
English language teachers at all levels of instruction, in universities and schools will come together to share research findings and current trends in the language teaching. New teaching approaches that have proved successful in other teaching contexts will be shared among the delegates.
