Qatar: Single death, 600 COVID-19 cases
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, July 7 (KUNA) -- Qatari Ministry of Health said on Tuesday a single patient infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) succumbed to the illness and 134 persons contracted the highly contagious virus.
The ministry said in a statement 600 new virus cases were recorded over past 24 hours, with total count of newly registered contaminations with the bug amounting to 100,945 cases.
Moreover, 1,005 people recovered from the infection, taking the overall count of recoveries to 94,903 since the COVID-19 outbreak, locally. (end)
