Afghanistan- Raz named coordinator for UNGA on Covid-19

's permanent representative to the UN has been appointed along with Ambassador Ivan Šimonović as co-coordinator for the UN General Assembly on COVID-19.
The Afghanistan Mission to the United Nations tweeted on Tuesday: 'Amb @AdelaRaz has been appointed along with Amb Ivan Šimonović of @CroatiaUN as co-coordinator for the UNGA on COVID-19 matters.
The co-coordinators would facilitate an exchange of views, coordinate approaches and advocate for measures to defeat the pandemic and mitigate its impact.'
