Turkey launches airstrike in N. Iraq, neutralizes 8 PKK terrorists

(MENAFN) On Saturday, the Turkish National Defense Ministry stated that Turkish warplanes managed to neutralize as many as eight PKK terrorists in northern Iraq.

It is worth mentioning that the terrorists were neutralized in the Metina region as a result of an air attack conducted by Turkish fighter jets, the ministry affirmed on Twitter, affirming that raids will stay ongoing without any stop.

Turkish government frequently uses the word "neutralized" in statements to indicate that the terrorists in question surrendered or were murdered or arrested.

Iraq is considered as a main point for YPG/PKK terrorists in which they plan conducting terrorist attacks in Turkey.
