Turkey's benchmark stock index closes day at 107,309.87 points
(MENAFN) On Monday, Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 107,309.87 points, an increase of 1.24 percent from the last close.
BIST 100 index began the day at 108,379.28 points and as of the daily close, it made 1,316.22 points in comparison with 105,993.65 points from last week's close.
Data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets showed that, the cost of one ounce of gold was around USD1, 609.00 by market close, which decreased in comparison with USD1, 627.00 at the last close.
On Monday, as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT), the cost of Brent crude oil was around USD50.50 for each barrel.
