Iran to help Lebanon amid international support absence

(MENAFN)
Based on a report by local Al Manar TV channel, Iran announced, through a statement by Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani, its full readiness to support Lebanon with all possible means and in all fields since amid the ignorance of the international society.

At a press conference in the Iran's embassy in Lebanon, Larijani said "We have discussed today with Lebanese officials the potential of offering support to Lebanon's industry, economy and agriculture."

Iran can largely use its experience to help Lebanon in the medical, power, and educational sectors, according to him.

Lebanon will also be protected, supported by Hezbollah militants, against any surprised Israeli targeted attacks.

Larijani further expressed that "Hezbollah is not a terrorist group and if it wasn't for Hezbollah, Israel would have committed more crimes against Lebanon."
