7 apprehended in France over attack suspicions

French local radio said that the police in France have arrested seven people as they were suspected of planning an attack on Monday morning in a counter terrorism operation launched by the police in Brest city of France.
An investigation source said that the suspects were planning a "violent act" and to join militants in Syria and Iraq.
Some of the arrested have been on the watch list of the police for radicalization. They were arrested as part of an investigation into a criminal terrorist organization.
It is still unknown what the attacks were to target.
