5 activists killed in Afghanistan

Abdul Ghafar Nuristani, Afghan army spokesman, said that 5 activsits died as Afghan security forces launched an attack on Taliban hideouts in Farah province on Sunday.
The attack took place on Sunday in Kariz Barikzai village outside Farah city leaving 5 Taliban members dead on the spot.
A number of weapons and ammunitions were also siezed.
No security officials or civilians were harmed in the operation which lasted for few hours.
