Azerbaijan Railways CJSC plans to extend the Baku-Ganja railway high-speed electric train route to Aghstafa, the company's Chairman Javid Gurbanov told reporters,Trendreports.

According to the chairman, the plans of the company include the construction of a railway line to Shahdag and Gabala, the reconstruction of the Baku-Balakan railway, the electrification of the railways and commissioning two new depots in the country.
