Nigeria: Boko Haram attack kills 5 farmers in Borno


(MENAFN) On Monday, as many as five farmers were murdered in a village in Nigeria's northeastern state of Borno as a result of an attack conducted by Boko Haram group, several sources affirmed.

One security source affirmed that the farmers were at their work place which is about 35 km south to Borno's capital, Maiduguri when they shot dead.

One farmer who fled during the gun attack went to town with the news, the source, who preferred to be anonymous said of the latest aggression by the terror group.

Multiple bullet injuries were seen on the body of each of the dead farmers, emphasized another source who assisted in recovering the bodies and directly organized for burial.
