7wounded as car runs over footpath in India

7 people were wounded on Sunday in Bengaluru city in India when a vehicle ran them over on a footpath, according to Xinhua.
Police said on Monday that the accident happen in HSR Layout locality of the city, the driver was arrested and charged for drunken and rash driving.
Two of the wounded remain in critical condition and the others suffered minor injuries and left the hospital after treatment.
The police stated that the driver was drunk and lost control of the wheel, he drove the vehicle on the pavement and hit several people standing in front of a roadside eatery and those walking on the pavement.
