Qatar- Lekhwiya Roundabout to be relocated


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that the Lekhwiya Roundabout on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor will be shifted approximately 700m north to facilitate the construction of the project.

The change will come into effect from August 11 for a period of 4 months and it will be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.

During the change, traffic movement to and from Luaib Area via Rashida Street will be shifted to the new roundabout.

Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift. Ashghal has requested all road users to abide by the 50kph speed limit and follow the newly designed road signs.
