Mortar fires causes 5 deaths in Aleppo

State news agency SANA has reported that five people lost their lives on Monday as a revolutionary's mortar fired on residential areas in the northern city of Aleppo, according to Xinhua.

SANA also said that the fires aimed on Aleppo's Jamiliyeh and Hamadaniyeh neighborhoods.

The capital has been secure since it was reclaimed by the Syrian army on 2016 except for mortar fires from revolutionists.

Mortar fires are frequently shot by the rebel groups in the capital city and government-held areas in the countryside.
