Navy rescues crew on ship stranded near Galle harbour
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Navy rescued the crew on a ship which was stranded near the Galle harbour following bad weather today.
The barge met with an accident as a result of the bad weather and was stuck near the Galle harbour.
The Navy rescued nine sailors on the barge and brought them ashore.
The ship was abandoned owing to poor weather, the Navy said.
