Afghanistan launches mega solar power plant
(MENAFN) Afghanistan launched a massive solar power plant valued at USD39 million, with an expectation to generate 30 megawatt energy in southern Kandahar province.
Zularistan Energy of Afghanistan (ZEFA) developed the maiden mega project alongside the Turkish 77 Construction company under a deal signed last year.

Ghani further affirmed that the public-private partnership project is likely to contribute in strengthening the Afghan economy.
