Albanian PM seeks negotiations with opposition
(MENAFN) Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has requested dialogues on Saturday in a public letter addressed to the main Democratic Party (DP) opposition leader Lulzim Basha ahead of the opposition protest.
Rama has sent three letters before to the DP leader in which he asked for dialogues.
He wrote: "You still have time to make steps back. You should not ask anymore for my resignation since I was not elected by you, but by the Albanian people."
Moreover, the prime minster confirmed his request for dialogue without conditions and fear.
"Conditions and fears are the obstacles that will come out tomorrow as a policy failure," he added.
