Rebel attack on residential areas in Syria's Aleppo wounds 6 civilians


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, as many as six civilians were injured due to the renewed mortar shells fired by the insurgents on inhabited areas in the northern city of Aleppo, state news agency SANA reported.

The mortar fire hit a number of residential areas in Aleppo in the afternoon, and left wounds to six people in addition to causing property loss, affirmed the report.

The injured people were transferred to the city's hospitals to receive the needed medical treatment.

The report stated that in response to that the army fired on the rebels' locations in the countryside of Aleppo.
