Germany destroys WWII explosive
(MENAFN) The official twitter account of the city of Cologne revealed that an unexploded World War II explosive was found and later destroyed in Cologne, forcing 2,500 residents to clear out their homes.
The explosive was found Wednesday afternoon and an area of 500 meters in radius had been blocked.
The finding of the bomb has affected local and long-distance traffic, including the train heading from Cologne to Bonn.
The city of Cologne declared that the explosive was destroyed and resident are allowed to come back home.
