Kuwait wins 35 medals in world martial arts championship
KUWAIT, April 18 (KUNA) -- Minister of State for Youth Affairs Mohammad Al-Jabri congratulated Thursday the Kuwaiti team for winning a number of medals in the world martial arts championship.
In a statement to KUNA, on this accomplishment, he wished the Kuwaiti team more success and prominence in regional and international arenas.
The Kuwaiti team won six gold, 12 silver, 17 bronze medals in the world martial arts championship held in Portugal. It is considered one of the biggest event in the sport, where more than 6,000 contenders participate representing 19 different Arab countries. (end) my.aab.bb
