Israeli alliance leader rejects cabinet with Netanyahu
(MENAFN) Israeli head of the Blue and White alliance Benny Gantz is rejecting being involved with a cabinet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in.
The Jerusalem Post cited a statement the Israeli alliance leader issued: "I will not sit with Netanyahu in the government."
During a previously recorded meeting with Blue and White, Gantz suggested that he does not deny the possibility of being in a government with Netanyahu.
He later explained "the tape was from a conversation that took place before the grave indictment of Netanyahu was announced and of course before it became clear that the prime minister received 16 million shekels in the submarine deal."
