(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Katara the Cultural Village will present three cultural shows to mark the final exhibition of the 3rd Cultural Diversity Festival tomorrow and Saturday, it was announced.
The Qatari ensemble ‘Alfin' will perform several traditional dances and shows, reflecting the authentic Qatari heritage while the Russian ensemble ‘Shagdy', known as one of the most popular Russian folkloric groups, will perform some of their best shows that combine the vintage heritage with modern arts. Syrian band ‘Julnar' will also deliver an interesting cultural show and dances from the rich Syrian heritage.
The Cultural Diversity Festival this year presented nearly 51 different cultural shows from various countries for Katara visitors who were introduced to a diverse range of cultures of nations around the world.
The festival aims to build bridges between cultures and boost the concepts of coexistence and dialogues between nations through arts and culture.
