Morocco's tourists flourish by 8.3 percent
(MENAFN) Morocco recorded an 8.3 percent boost in its tourism arrivals by the end of 2018, as it welcomed 12.28 million visitors.
Tourism revenues in Morocco also registered a 1.4 percent jump compared to 2017 figures, standing at USD7.65 billion.
Foreign arrivals to Morocco also hit a 14 percent surge, the Moroccan Tourism Ministry unveiled based on recent data, while local tourism saw a 2 percent raise.
The country received 1 million guests in December 2018, data showed, posting a 6 percent increase from figures reported during the same month a year earlier.
