Jordan- Interior minister, Arab Interior Ministers Council official discuss security cooperation

Amman, Jan. 22 (Petra) - Interior Minister Samir Mubaidin discussed on Tuesday with Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers (CAIM) Mohammed Bin Ali Koman, ways to improve pan-Arab security cooperation.

During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the agenda of the council's 36th meeting scheduled to be held in Tunisia in March. The agenda will include several security issues, including terrorism and narcotics in addition to other crimes.

Mubaidin stressed Jordan's commitment to implement the council's decisions and recommendations and its keenness on supporting the CAIM. He voiced satisfaction over the council's efforts to achieve the desired security cooperation among all its members as well as achievements it has made in combating crimes.

Koman commended Jordan's effective role in supporting the council work and its keenness to develop its work mechanism. He also invited Mubaidin to take part in the council's next sessions in Tunisia.
