Kuwait's KOC to issue final tender on gas pipeline
(MENAFN) Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) was reported to have decided to issue a final tender in February for a major gas pipeline project.
The USD493 million project, Arab Times reported, will be allowing natural gas to be transported from North Kuwait to KOC's refinery in Mina Ahmadi.
KOC, the reported unveiled, is now examining offers of which a number of firms handed to the Tenders Committee to show final suggestions on the tender.
One of the highest bids, according to sources, came from Italy's Saipem, and South Korean SK Engineering and Construction, while the lowest bids were presented by India's Larsen & Toubro.
