(MENAFN) Libya hit a new record high in its oil revenues by the end of last year to reach USD24.4 billion, the highest it ever seen in five years.

Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) issued a statement, showing a 78 percent jump in the oil revenues of the country in the past year compared to 2017.

According to the NOC statement, Libya's average daily oil output in 2018 stood at 1.107 million barrels per day.
