Oman- Mwasalat cuts airport taxi fare from Jan 1

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Mwasalat on Monday announced reduced airport taxi fare from January 1, 2019.

Mwasalat said that the new base fare (6am-10pm) from Sunday to Thursday will be RO2.5 from the present RO3. Customers will be charged 300bz for every km (till 30km) instead of 400bz.

The transport company said that the change comes in accordance 'with public suggestions and opinions'.

From the new year, there will be drop in night fare too.

'From Sunday to Thursday (10pm-6am), the base fare will be RO3 instead of RO3.6. Travellers will be charged 300bz for every km (till 30km) instead of 450bz.'

Mwasalat has said that more than 52,000 people have registered on its taxi service app.
