Cabinet to file appeal against Nasirov's reinstatement in office

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers will file an appeal against the decision by Kyiv's District Administrative Court to reinstate Roman Nasirov as chairman of the State Fiscal Service, the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Vadym Denysenko, has reported on Facebook.

"The government has made an absolutely legal decision to dismiss Nasirov and, of course, it will file an appeal against the decision to reinstate him in office," he wrote.

At the same time, Denysenko emphasized that at present the Cabinet of Ministers had not yet received an official judgment on Nasirov's reinstatement in office.

As reported, on December 11, Kyiv's District Administrative Court reinstated Nasirov as head of the State Fiscal Service and ordered to pay him salary during his forced absenteeism from February 2, 2018, when the Cabinet of Ministers decided to dismiss the official.

On January 18, the Finance Ministry sent a motion to the government on Nasirov's dismissal. According to the motion, the reason for this step was information received from the British Embassy in Ukraine that Nasirov has British citizenship.

On January 25, the Cabinet of Ministers sent a petition on Nasirov's dismissal as head of the State Fiscal Service for examination by the National Agency on Civil Service.

On January 31, 2018, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the decision to dismiss Nasirov as head of the State Fiscal Service based on the conclusion of the National Agency on Civil Service.
