U.S teacher faces charges over abusive video
(MENAFN) A US teacher is to be charged after a video revealed her forcibly chopping a student's hair during class while singing the national anthem.
Margaret Gieszinger, aged 52, has been sacked at University Preparatory High School in Visalia, California.
Prosecutors declared that she has been acquitted of six charges, including child abuse and battery, and faces up to three-and-a-half years in jail.
Ms Gieszinger was bailed out after paying USD 100,000 late on Friday.
