(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 8 (KUNA) -- The total number of property loans and grants given by Kuwait Credit Bank in November amounted to KD 23.8 million (USD 78 million), KCB said in a statement Saturday.
The real estate portfolio's total loans amounted to KD 119.5 million (USD 393 million) in November, the bank said in a press statement, adding loans for construction of private units reached KD 1.54 million (USD 5 million).
Furthermore, KCB mentioned lending around KD 14.8 million (USD 48.6) loans for building government units, and about KD 4.4 million (USD 14.4 million) for house purchasing.
It also lent KD 159,000 (USD 522,000) for private housing expansion projects, KD 975,000 (USD 3.2 million) for expanding government houses, and KD 1.85 million (USD 6 million) to citizens of special needs.
Overall loans from the KCB portfolio (for maintenance and expansion projects) amounted to KD 80,000 (USD 263,000), said KCB. (end) aam.amh.ma
