Palestinian, Czech FMs meet to discuss bilateral ties, international issues


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki encountered with Czech counterpart Tomas Petricek in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, the Palestinian Authority (PA)'s administrative capital.

After the meeting, al-Maliki told reporters that he and Petricek had debated means of boosting bilateral ties and worldwide issues of mutual concern.

He added that he had informed the Czech FM on the present condition in the Palestinian territories and recent Israeli military escalations against the blockaded Gaza Strip.

Al-Maliki continued to slam permanent U.S. backing for Israel and Washington's reluctance to convict Israel's rights violations at the UN Security Council.
