Kuwait- Palestinian factions declare truce after Egyptian mediation
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 13 (KUNA) -- Palestinian joint factions announced Tuesday reaching a truce with the Israeli occupation forces through an Egyptian mediation.
In a joint statement, the Palestinian factions said Egyptian efforts was appreciated and resulted in halt to fire between the Palestinian resistance movements and the Israeli occupation army, stressing the resistance will abide by this declaration as long as the Israelis does so.
On another front, head of Hamas political office Ismail Haniya said that if the Israeli occupation abided by the truce they can move to the previous understanding on clam.
Haniya added Palestinian factions were defending the Palestinian people against Israeli aggression. (Pickup previous) wab.mb
